As a Motorboat
With the two sit on kayak canoes connected by front and rear spars and the transom mount in place, all that is needed is for a standard outboard motor to be mounted on the transom. Any motor between 2hp and 5hp is fine. You can even mount an electric motor - as there is a place to store a marine battery in the rear of each kayak.
The catamaran boat configuration gives the Wingman incredible stability. This makes it very safe for fishing and also makes it very easy to use as a diving platform - as the stability and the low water entry point make getting in and out of the water a breeze. Many other features make it a well organised and safe fishing platform. If you like the idea of sailing your Wingman, then you may like to check out the Switch, all the features of the Wingman, but with a 5.0sqm sail kitset added. Safe for the kids to paddle out for a spot of fishing or playing in the harbour - if they jump off, they can easily climb back on as the Wingman is virtually IMPOSSIBLE TO TIP OVER!!! It is the most stable kayak configuration we know of.
